Notice on legal compliance
During inputs evaluation the European Input List team is evaluating the (full composition) against its compliance with Regulation (EC) No 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007.
The team of the European Input List does not verify whether products comply with national legislation and with the requirements of private label organizations of each EU member state. Organic farmers wishing to use a product from the European Input List must therefore make sure that it may legally be used in their country.
Note: In the case of the ‘national lists’ for Germany, Austria, The Netherlands and Switzerland which are published by the partners of the European Input List, compliance with national legislation and/or requirements of private label organizations is verified. The result of this verification is also mentioned under “Regulation/standard” in the European Input List.
